“Enough Is Enough: Pope Leo Declares War a ‘Scandal to Humanity’ in Fiery Global Peace Appeal”

Pope Leo has issued one of his strongest calls yet for an end to global conflict, declaring that the world has reached a point where war can no longer be tolerated.

Speaking during a passionate address at the Vatican, the pontiff urged world leaders to abandon violence and return to dialogue, warning that continued warfare is destroying human dignity and global stability.

He described ongoing conflicts as deeply “inhumane” and called the suffering of civilians a “scandal to the whole human family,” stressing that innocent lives are being lost in growing numbers across war-torn regions.

The Pope also criticized the increasing use of religion to justify violence, insisting that faith should never be used to support bloodshed or political aggression.

His message comes amid intensified global conflicts and rising international tensions, as he continues to position the Vatican as a strong voice for peace, reconciliation, and humanitarian protection.

Pope Leo concluded by appealing directly to global leaders: ceasefire must come first, and dialogue must replace destruction.
