No Early Exit”: Trump Vows U.S. Will ‘Finish the Job’ in Iran War
United States President Donald Trump has declared that American forces must “finish the job” in Iran, signaling that Washington will continue its military campaign despite growing global tensions.
Speaking during a rally in Kentucky, Trump said the United States and its allies have already inflicted massive damage on Iranian military capabilities but warned that withdrawing too early could allow Tehran to rebuild its power. He stressed that the mission would continue until Washington’s strategic objectives are fully achieved.
According to the U.S. president, thousands of targets inside Iran have been hit since the conflict began, including naval assets, missile systems and military infrastructure. Trump claimed that Iranian forces have been significantly weakened and that there is now “practically nothing left to target.”

However, the war has sharply escalated tensions across the Middle East. Iranian forces have responded with missile and drone strikes against regional targets and shipping routes, raising fears of wider instability and disruption to global oil supplies.
Despite signaling that the conflict could end soon, Trump insisted the United States will not leave the battlefield prematurely, warning that doing so could allow Iran to revive its military ambitions and threaten regional security again.
The ongoing conflict has already rattled global energy markets and drawn calls from world leaders for de-escalation as fears of a broader regional war continue to grow.
