President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved a limited cabinet reshuffle, making changes to the composition of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
In a memo issued by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, two ministers, Wale Edun and Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, have been relieved of their positions, with successors already appointed.
Before the reshuffle, Edun served as Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.
He has now been directed to transfer responsibilities to Taiwo Oyedele, who assumes the role after previously serving as Minister of State in the same ministry.
Additionally, Muttaqha Rabe Darma has been nominated and designated as the incoming Minister of Housing and Urban Development.
Dangiwa is expected to hand over his duties to the current Minister of State in the ministry.
